2010 Town Home Leed Certified Gold
My ring has been certified as14kt Gold by a jeweler. Its been resized and is RUSTING around the solder. Help?
many thanks for all the replies so far...This is a new ring, it's also my wedding ring!! It has natural champange diamonds in and has been valued at
£1, 500 so i'm annoyed at the rust around the solder!! Any suggestions for rust removal?

It's rusting because the jeweler did not use the proper solder during resizing. OR, he didn't use the correct cleaner prior to soldering. Either way, a reputable jeweler will correct his error. ps: when resizing gold jewelry, the proper 'connect' method is called 'braising'. It is a brass product especially used for gold.
